Margaret Rose Milligan of St. Charles, MO, passed away Thursday, July 4, 2019 at the age of 66. Beloved daughter of the late Arden and Margaret McCoy; devoted mother of Michael (Jeannie) McCoy and Johanna “Jodi” Amis (Eddie Kraml); cherished grandmother of Chris Milligan, Jessica McCoy, Michael McCoy, Zach Burris, Sam Burris, Ariana McGuire, Mackenzie Becker, Daylin Amis, Layla Amis, Clayton Kraml, Levi Kraml, Shawn Kraml, Justin Kraml, Michele Kraml, and Madison Kraml; loving great-grandmother of Nathan, Isaiah, Gracie, Ethan, Cooper, Caden, AJ, and Abel; and dear sister of Jerry McCoy, Joe McCoy, Chuck McCoy, Michelle Penrod, and the late John McCoy.

Margaret devoted many years to working as a caregiver for Penrod Nursing Home, where she not only took care of the residents, but she made them feel at home as her friend. She enjoyed the outdoors and taking care of her vegetable garden, but her passion was her rose bushes and the white ones were her favorite.

Margaret loved to play bingo at the VFW Hall and listen to the oldies, especially Elvis, Connie Francis, Dianna Ross and the Supremes, and other Motown favorites. She always talked about her favorite car she always wanted was a 65' Mustang Baby Blue with White Pony Interior, and maybe now she’s riding around somewhere up there with the radio playing her favorite songs.

More than anything else, Margaret truly loved and always looked forward to spending time with her grandkids and great grandkids. She was dearly loved and will be greatly missed by all who knew her.

Memorial contributions may be made in Margaret’s name to the American Diabetes Association.
