Marcella Smith, (nee: Knight) of St. Peters, MO, passed away Saturday, July 27, 2019 at the age of 94. Beloved wife of the late James Earl Smith; cherished daughter of the late EJ and Willie Mae Knight; devoted mother of Earlene (Brent) Abney, Donna (Lonnie) Nasalroad, James Smith and Glenn (Carol) Smith; loving grandmother of Michelle, Cheryl, Jimmy, James, Kellie, Jessica, Glenn, Leslie, Marcy, and Michelle Lynn; treasured great-grandmother of 16 and 3 great-great-grandchildren. Marcella is preceded in death by her 6 siblings.
Marcella was a very loving and caring woman who put everyone before herself. She was a hard worker and spent many years owning the Air-O-Way Motel with her husband. Marcella was very family oriented and was talented at baking and cooking. Her family will miss her terribly and she will be greatly missed by all who knew her.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made in Marcella's name to a Hospice Organization of your choice.
