Magdalen Babin

Magdalen Babin of Saint Louis, MO, passed away at the age of 95 on Friday, January 22, 2021. She was preceded in death by her husband, Edward Babin; her children, Kenneth Babin and Catherine (Jerome) Holway; her parents, Herman and Bernidine Witte; and her sister, Catherine Wheeler.

Magdalen is survived by her sons, James (Nancy) Babin and Tim (Cheryl) Babin; and her grandchildren, Eric Babin, Sarah Babin, Ellen Babin, Jeremy (Jennifer) Holway, Christopher (Cathy) Holway, Father Craig Holway, and Andrew Babin.

For fun, Magdalen enjoyed getting out for a pleasant walk or meeting up with her friends to play a game of bingo. She was a terrific cook and liked putting delicious meals on the table for her loved ones to enjoy. Magdalen had a creative spirit and took up quilting projects now and then to produce lovely, comfortable quilts to gift. Above everything, Magdalen treasured the time she spent with her family and always cherished the great memories they all made together over the years. She will be dearly missed by all who knew and loved her.
