Lucille Elizabeth Norton

Norton, Lucille Elizabeth (nee: Schrader), of St. Charles, MO, died on Tuesday, January 24, 2017, at the age of 105. Loving wife of 64 years to the late Omer Norton; beloved daughter of the late Walter and Catherine Schrader; devoted mother of Gaylene (Earl) Renken; cherished grandmother of Mark (Lori) Renken, Robert (Kerri) Renken, Scott (Amy) Renken, and Tom (Melanie) Renken; treasured great-grandmother of 8 and great-great-grandmother of 2; and dear aunt of Gloria Kneemiller. She is preceded in death by one brother and three sisters.

Lucille worked for the International Shoe Company of St. Charles for over 25 years. She was a member of St. John U.C.C. of St. Charles for over 75 years. Lucille enjoyed collecting antiques and reading romance novels. She will be remembered for her wonderful sense of humor, her independence, and her love of candy, especially Hershey’s chocolates. Above all else, Lucille loved being with her family and friends, and will truly be missed.
