Lorraine Emma Marie Roche, of Saint Charles, Missouri, passed away Friday, September 18, 2020 at the age of 97. Loving wife of the late Clarence Roche, Jr.; beloved daughter of the late Arthur and Caroline Rosemeyer; devoted mother of Linda (Tom) Nagle, Cindy (the late Dan) Smith, and Allen (Linda) Roche; cherished grandmother of Kari (Daren) Aldag, Christopher (Emily) Nagle, Katie (Sam) Wilson, Lisa (Steve) Bohrmann, Jason (Carlie) Smith, Justin (April) Roche, Jamie Roche, and Jordan (Tiffany) Roche; treasured great-grandmother of Kailee Aldag, Dylan Aldag, Karina Aldag, Kenley Nagle, Savannah Wilson, Finn Wilson, Graham Bohrmann, Elliot Bohrmann, Adalyn Vinyard, Audrey Vinyard, Brody Roche, Abby Roche, Lori Roche, Josie Roche and the late Hazel Roche.
Lorraine was a truly amazing homemaker, loving wife, and devoted mother who cherished her family and took wonderful care of them. She was a great cook, which she was known for her wonderful brisket. She was also a very talented baker, and the grandkids delighted in picking out their special birthday cake for her to make and design just for them. She loved her grandkids immensely and attended all of their graduations, concerts, and sporting events; whatever they were doing Grandma Roche was sure to be there.
Lorraine attended Calvary Church for many years, where most people knew her as the “Welcome Lady,” who greeted you with a big hug and a smile. She also had many talents, but she had a passion for and enjoyed making ceramics of all kinds. She looked forward to the holidays and decorating, and she had great joy in preparing her home for everyone to come visit. Lorraine was dearly loved and will be greatly missed by all who knew her.
Memorial contributions may be made in Lorraine's name to Calvary Church Children's Ministries or the Children's Missions Fund.
