Linda Sue Murchison

Linda Sue Murchison, (nee: Childers) of O’Fallon, MO, passed away Sunday, June 2, 2019 at the age of 72. Beloved wife of the late John Floyd Murchison, Jr.; cherished daughter of the late James and Carrie Childers; devoted mother of John "Jay" (Rochelle) Murchison, and Rod  (Britton) Murchison; loving grandmother of Merrick, Coleman, Calvin, and Cooper Murchison; dear sister of Patsy (Graham) Newell, Cynthia (Ron) Young, and Pamula (Jim) Pettijohn.

Linda is also preceded in death by her brothers, J.C. Childers and Mike Childers.

Linda retired from bookkeeping for the Mid-West Library Service. She was a volunteer at the Salvation Army Sallies Soup Kitchen, and loved to play Bocce Ball, exercise, and line dance. Linda also loved to play cards and dice. Most of all, she was a loving mother, and a very involved grandmother. Linda was dearly loved and will be greatly missed by all who knew her.
