Leona Jean Shellum

February 12, 1940 — November 22, 2021

Leona Jean Shellum (nee Weekley) of St. Charles, Missouri passed away Monday, November 22, 2021. She was born on February 12, 1940 in Coldwater, Missouri to Orley and Bernetta Weekley and is a sister to eight siblings. She is survived by her brother Richard Weekley and sister Sharon Neumann. Loving wife of the late Reuben Alvin Shellum. She is survived by her son Jeffery, daughter Pamela, Shelia (Rachel) and Nicole; nine grandchildren Brandy, Jeffrey (Logan), Alana (Angie), Rachel, Shiloh, Boston, Sydney, Elliot and Nicholas: two great grandchildren River and Jonathan Curtis.

Leona loved listening to Merle Haggard and country music in general. She enjoyed sewing, antiquing and crossword puzzles. She loved to laugh and enjoyed comedies and was fond of telling stories about her horses Robin and Ribbon Leona is dearly loved and she will be greatly missed by her family and friends.

Memorials may be made in Leona 's name to the American Cancer Society.
