Leola Barnes

Leola Barnes (nee Hutchins), of Wentzville, MO, passed away on Monday, February 13, 2017 at the age of 78; born on December 25, 1938 in Indianola Mississippi to the late Solomon and Callie Hutchins, devoted mother of Cherri Barnes, Jackie Allen Hutchins, Roy Hutchins, Tyrone Barnes, Cynthia Barnes-Harris and the late Anthony Duane Barnes and Andria D. Moore; cherished grandmother of Myishia Morrison, LaTara Barnes, Porsheia Barnes, Larry Harris, and Kieara Ryan-Barnes; treasured great-grandmother of many; dear sister of Catherine Abrams; ex-wife of Charles Barnes; and also survived by many nieces, nephews, other relatives, and dear friends.

Leola was a very kind woman, she loved to smile. She enjoyed shopping, gambling, and bowling. Mostly, Leola loved being with her family and friends “to know her was to love her”, she will be greatly missed.
