Lavina “Louise” Gowen

Lavina “Louise” Gowen, (nee: Diehl) of Saint Peters, MO, passed away Thursday, January 2, 2020 at the age of 81. Cherished daughter of the late Bessie and Carl Diehl. Devoted mother of Michael (Lisa) Gowen; loving grandmother of Natalie (Dan) Evans; dear sister of Carl (Goldie) Diehl, Darrell (Diane) Diehl, Roy Diehl, Roger (Karen) Diehl, and the late Gladys Ray and Leona Diehl; treasured niece of Mildred "Polly" Hoover; nieces, nephew, other relatives and friends.
Lavina was a member of First Baptist Church of St. Charles and retired from McDonnell Douglas after over 30 years of service. She enjoyed spending time outside and loved bird watching and gardening. Lavina was dearly loved and will be greatly missed by all who knew her.
Memorials may be made in Lavina 's name to Missouri Baptist Children's Home.
