Kenneth James Yanczer, 64 of Wright City, MO passed on January 30, 2017 at St. Joseph Health Center in St. Charles, MO.
He was born on October 25, 1952 to Peter Frank and Edna Kuester Yanczer in St. Louis, MO.
Ken married the former Ruth Stoye on June 1, 2002 in St. Louis, MO.
He was an electrician with the Independent Electrical Contractors Union, working at various local firms, among them, AMF Electric, Frisella Electric and Crown Electric during his 30+ years on the job. Ken also owned and operated the Former KY Electric.
Ken’s passions included reading, gardening, his home and his pets Big Joe, Joey, Alex and Chloe. He liked to go to flea markets, estate sales and yard sales, as he was always looking for that great bargain.
He leaves behind his wife of 15 years Ruth, two step-children Kelsey Stager and her fiancé Connie Lesch of St. Louis, Bradley Terpening of Alton, IL and two sisters, Karen S. and Kate Yanczer, both of St. Louis.
In lieu of flowers, the family wishes memorials be made to St. Louis Senior Dog Project, The National Kidney Foundation or the American Diabetes Association.
A Celebration of Ken’s life will be held at a future date.
