Kathy King

Kathy King (nee: Durham), of O’Fallon, MO, passed away Tuesday, February 25, 2020 at the age of 81. Beloved daughter of the late Clay and Annaliese Durham; beloved mother of Timothy King, Kay Kuhlmann, and Chris King; cherished grandmother of Ryan (Kelley) Kuhlmann, Rene' Kuhlmann, Christian King, Kyle King, and Kevin King; treasured great-grandmother of Jordan Dennis, Julianna Kuhlmann, Tristan Kuhlmann, Noah Kuhlmann, and Layla King; dear sister of Clarence Durham. Anna is also preceded in death by her brother, Richard Durham; and sister, Barbara Borghardt.

Kathy retired from Crane National Vendors after a more than 30-year career and welcomed her years of retirement as a time to celebrate life with her children, grandchildren, and many friends. Kathy was very social and active, and proudly maintained her active lifestyle until the very end. Among her life’s passions, Kathy nurtured a great love for anything Star Wars, and loved Marvel comics and characters as well. Her children, and especially grandchildren, grew to love Star Wars too, and Kathy spent many happy hours with them watching their favorite Star Wars movies and discussing their favorite characters.

Kathy was a dearly beloved mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, sister, aunt, and friend to many. She will be greatly missed by all who knew her.
