Kathleen “Kay” A. Braun
January 21, 1942 — February 7, 2020
Kathleen "Kay" A. Braun, of St. Charles, Missouri, passed away at the age of 78 on Friday, February 7, 2020. She was preceded in death by her parents, Howard and Darline Palmer; and her brother, Richard Palmer.
Kay is survived by her beloved husband, Robert Braun; her children, John T. (Julie) Hardy, Karen E. Heinrich, James R. Hardy, Kathleen P. (David) Wensel, Kelly A. Uhlmansiek, and Kristine M. Lay; her fourteen grandchildren; her ten great-grandchildren; and her sister-in-law, Elizabeth Palmer.
Kay took pride in being involved with her community. She belonged to a number of organizations including American Legion Post #444 Auxiliary, the Coast Guard Auxiliary, and the Ladies Ancient Order of Hibernians. Kay was also a faithful parishioner of St. Charles Borromeo Catholic Church. She will be dearly missed by all who knew and loved her.
Memorial contributions in Kay's name may be made to Siteman Cancer Center.
