Joseph W. “Joe” Pierce

Joseph W. “Joe” Pierce of Saint Louis, Missouri, passed Saturday, April 28, 2018, at the age of 61.  Beloved husband of 34 years to Cindy Pierce; beloved son of the late James O. and Hazel C. Pierce; devoted father of Heather (Jimi) Morisaki, Tim (Ari) Warren, and Allison Pierce; cherished grandfather of Lillie Morisaki, Emily Morisaki, Olivia Warren, Evan Warren, and Nate Warren; dear brother of Richard (Pat) Pierce and Norman Pierce, and brother-in-law of Jim Stoker; dearest son-in-law of Mary (the late Donnie) Santel.  Joe was also preceded in death by his sister, Mary Stoker and brothers, Russell Pierce and Paul Pierce.

Joe retired from Hilboldt Curtain Wall as a foreman, and he worked for more than 30 years in his trade.  He enjoyed fishing, exploring the outdoors with his grandchildren, hunting, and nature.  He was a “Jack-of-All-Trades” and known to his family as “Mr. Fix-It,” he could repair or build anything he tasked himself to do, and he loved finding projects to tackle.  Joe was dearly loved and will be greatly missed by all who knew him.
