Joseph T. Long

Joseph Theodore Long, of Dunnellon, FL, formerly of O’Fallon, MO, died April 24, 2017, at the age of 79. Beloved son of the late Theodore R. and Floy P Long; devoted father of Beverly F. (Chris) Lemmons, David C. (Ann) Long, and Lyndel J. (Ron) Shumate; loving life companion of Shirley J. Kircher; dear brother of Ruth (Eugene) Franklin; cherished grandfather of nine; treasured great-grandfather of seven.
Joseph proudly served his country in the United States Army before going to work for McDonnell Douglas. He retired and moved to Florida after 33 years of service to the aerospace industry. Joseph was a Mason with the Wentzville Lodge #46 and devoted member of First United Methodist of Dunellon. He was dearly loved and will be missed by all who knew him.
There will be a Masonic Service at 7:00 pm on Monday.
