Joseph Stanley Higgs
July 26, 1945 — April 22, 2019
Joseph Stanley Higgs, of Wentzville, Missouri, passed away Monday, April 22, 2019, at the age of 73. Cherished son of the late Carl J. and Regina F. Higgs; devoted father of Carrie Higgs, Christine (Jay) McClain, and Michelle (Mike) Barker; loving grandfather of Zoe, Carson, Reese, Reagan, and Josie.
Joseph is also preceded in death by his two brothers, Dean Higgs and Carl "Jerry" Higgs.
Joseph proudly and honorably served his country in the United States Air Force. He was one of the founders of Save-a-lot grocery store and served as its financial officer. In his spare time, Joseph enjoyed golfing, fishing, boating, and playing Keno. Most of all, Joseph loved spending time with his family. He was dearly loved and will be greatly missed by his family and friends.
Memorials may be made in Joseph 's name to American Diabetes Association.
