Joseph Salvatore “Joe” Tormes of Wentzville, MO, passed away at the age of 61 on Sunday, July 5, 2020. He was preceded in death by his parents.
Joe is survived by his beloved wife, Elsa Toni Jett-Tormes; his stepson, Brandon (Hiroka) Jett; his granddaughter, Sophia Luna Jett; his niece, Alexa Tormes; and his brother, Tony (Emmanuelle) Tormes.
Joe was a faithful member of Immaculate Conception Catholic Church in Dardenne Prairie, MO, and proudly served in the United States Coast Guard. He had a degree in Horticulture and loved gardening – he had the talent to grow anything. His favorite things to do were to work and travel with Elsa. They were known as “Team Tormes” and their special thing to do while traveling was to ride the Ferris Wheel at destinations such as Seattle, Las Vegas, London, Paris, and the Immaculate Conception Parish Picnic. Joe’s thoughtful, caring, loving, and humble nature was a constant source of strength for his loved ones. He will be dearly missed by all who knew and loved him.
Memorial contributions in Joseph’s name may be made to the St. Vincent De Paul Food Pantry in care of Immaculate Conception Dardenne Catholic Church.
