Joseph F. Mica, Jr.
May 28, 1925 — June 3, 2019
Joseph F. Mica Jr. of Saint Charles, MO, passed away at the age of 94 on Monday, June 3, 2019. He was preceded in death by his beloved wife, Elizabeth Mica; and his parents, Joseph and Anna Mica.
He is survived by his children, Margaret (Tony) Kilroy, Shirley (Dan) Rupp, Joseph Mica III, Diane (Lonnie) Land, and John (Kelly) Mica ; fifteen grandchildren, twenty-five great-grandchildren, and three great-great-grandchildren; and his sister, Anna (Rich) Craden.
Joseph served his country with honor in the United States Navy during World War II. He was a longtime parishioner of All Saints Catholic Church and volunteered his time there serving as an usher. Joseph played Minor League Ball, and was a loyal fan of the Cardinals, Yankees, and St. Louis Blues. He loved to barbeque and is lovingly remembered by his family as being a hard worker and good provider. He was dearly loved and will be greatly missed.
Memorial contributions in Joseph’s honor may be made to the American Cancer Society.
