Jordan David Hagy

June 6, 2021 — June 25, 2021

Jordan David Hagy was born on June 6, 2021 to Ashley Hagy and Eric Johnson. In addition to his parents, he is survived by siblings Brittany and Alisha, and maternal grandparents Emily Stricker and Jonathon (Christy) Hagy, as well as many aunts, uncles, cousins, and great grandparents.

Jordan was preceded in death by his sister, Halie, and paternal grandparents, Barbara Johnson and Steven Miller.

Jordan was born via emergency c-section at St. Joseph Hospital in Lake Saint Louis after his mother suffered a cardiac arrest due to Wolff-Parkinson-White Syndrome. He was airlifted to Cardinal Glennon Children’s Hospital, where he surpassed the expectations of his medical team and survived long enough to spend his final week with his mother by his side, upon her discharge from the hospital. He peacefully passed away in her loving arms the morning of June 25, 2021.

In his short time on earth, Jordan experienced the adventure of a helicopter ride and more love and adoration than one could expect in a lifetime. He brought a sweetness and light to this world that those who were blessed to meet him will forever cherish.

Jordan’s family is grateful to his medical team for providing an exceptional level of care throughout his journey. Further, they would like to urge pregnant women to advocate for themselves to ensure they are receiving proper care for medical symptoms and conditions that could potentially impact their pregnancy. Ask questions and request referrals.

Memorial contributions may be made to SSM Health Cardinal Glennon Children’s Foundation.
