Joe McDermott

Joe McDermott, of St. Charles, Missouri, passed away on Sunday, September 30, 2018, at the age of 72. Loving husband of 48 wonderful years to Judy McDermott; beloved son of the late Peter Joseph and Genevieve McDermott; devoted father of Tracy (Charles) Flemming and Jamie (Ryan) McCarrick; proud grandfather of Austin Flemming, Cory Flemming, Casey Flemming, Kellen McCarrick, Kane McCarrick, and Jameson McCarrick; treasured brother of JoAnn (Michael) Heard, Pat Henderson, Carol Schroyer, Sandy Brown, and the late Edward McDermott; and dear brother-in-law of the late Gerald Henderson.

Joe was a beloved husband, father, grandfather, and friend to many. He was a parishioner at St. Robert Bellarmine Catholic Church, and a member of Teamsters Local 682. In his free time, he enjoyed drag racing and fishing. Most of all, Joe enjoyed spending time with his family, especially his grandkids. Joe was deeply loved and will be greatly missed by all who knew him.
