Jimmy D. McGrew

McGrew, Jimmy D., of O’Fallon, MO, died on Thursday, October 20, 2016, at the age of 74. Loving husband of Lucia McGrew; dear son of the late Billy and Wanda McGrew and the late Mattie Wilborn; beloved father of Damian Gonzales, Julian Gonzales, Michelle McGrew, Tammy McGrew, and Billy McGrew; cherished grandfather of Antonio, Kiera, Dominik, Skylar, and Bella; cherished brother of Patricia (Douglas) Johnson, Lana (James) Lentz, Pamela (Alan) Meinen, Ron McGrew, and Michael (Barbara) McGrew. Jimmy is also survived by many nieces, nephews, other relatives and many friends.

Jimmy was preceded in death by his son, Jimmy McGrew, Jr.

Jimmy proudly served his country in the United States Air Force during the Vietnam War. He was a member of St. Barnabas Catholic Parish, St. Charles VFW Post 2866, and Men of Sacred Heart. Jimmy loved his job and retired after 35 years with Boeing in 2013. He also enjoyed collecting coins and spending time with his family. He was loved and will be missed dearly by all who knew him.
