Jessie Imogene McBride
June 10, 1930 — July 10, 2017
Jessie Imogene “Jean” McBride (nee Williams), of Saint Peters, Missouri, passed away Monday, July 10, 2017 at age 87. Loving wife of the late Taylor David McBride; beloved daughter of the late Jesse M. and Letie E. (nee Edwards) Williams; devoted mother of David (Karen) McBride, Melvin (Lesa) McBride, Marian (Ron) Avery, and Carmen (Steve) Bartlett; cherished grandmother of Douglas Rutledge, Jennifer Daniel, Jason McBride, Erin Eyman, Michelle Rutledge, Katie Stokes, Casey Tressler, Kevin McBride, and Matthew Bartlett; and treasured great-grandmother of 21. She was preceded in death by her brothers and sisters, David Williams, Inez Barrowman, Rachel Middendorf, Mary Francis, Ruth Copeland, and Joe Williams.
Jessie knew and loved the Lord. She enjoyed gardening and planting flowers. She was a great cook and enjoyed sharing meals with her family. Though Jessie was a homemaker for most of her life, she spent 12 years working as a cook for Fort Zumwalt School District. She also love to feed birds and stray cats. Jessie was dearly loved, and will be missed by all who knew her.
