Jerial “Jerry” L. Young, age 83, of St. Charles, Missouri, passed away on Thursday, June 22, 2017. Loving husband of Mary Jane Young (nee Kremer); Cherished son of the late Forrest “Jack” and Mary Aletha Armstrong; devoted father of Mike (Mary) Held and Sherry Fortney; loving grandfather of Donna and Evan; treasured great-grandfather of Logan, Madison, and Connor.
Jerry proudly served in the United States Army. He married his beloved wife, Mary Jane, on May 12, 1979. They spent 38 loving years together. Jerry was a member of the Optimist Club and enjoyed reading, hunting, fishing and bowling in his spare time. Jerry was also very proud of having his pilot’s license for single engine aircraft. He was the owner of Young Electric for 38 years.
