Jerome “Jerry” G. Rieffer

Jerome “Jerry” G. Rieffer, of O Fallon, MO, passed away Saturday, September 26, 2020 at the age of 78. Beloved husband of Karen Rieffer; cherished son of the late Harold and Maureen Rieffer; devoted father of Scott Rieffer and the late Christine Rieffer; loving grandfather of Justin (Kryste) Rieffer; dear brother of Joyce (Eddie) Oberkrom and the late Julian Rieffer; treasured uncle of Tammi Rohman, Angie Oberkrom, Julie Sager, Alyssa Dion, Mykel Dion and Sara Dion; Jerome is also survived by beloved canine companion Ebby who he lovingly referred to as baby doll.
Jerry retired from General Motors after over 33 years of service. He enjoyed hunting and fishing, and spending time at the Lake of the Ozarks. He had a passion for cars and car shows. Most of all he loved spending time with family and friends. Jerry was dearly loved and will be greatly missed by all who knew him.
Memorials may be made in Jerry's name to American Heart Association or St. Louis Humane Society.
