Jerome "Jerry" Bauman of Saint Peters, MO, passed away at the age of 77 on Monday, May 13, 2019. He was preceded in death by his daughter, Andrea Maria Bauman; his parents, Carl and Margie Catherine Bauman; and his brother, Kenny Bauman.

He is survived by his beloved wife, Nancy Bauman; his daughter, Dawn (Randy) Hoeber; his grandchildren, Lindsay Eckstein, Elizabeth Eckstein, and Calen Hoeber; his great-granddaughter, LunaRae Crable; and his siblings, Larry (Gladys) Bauman, Denny (Paulette) Bauman, and Kathie (Kent) Smith.

Jerry was a faithful member of All Saints Catholic Church. Archery was a great passion of Jerry’s and he belonged to several archery organizations including the United Bow Hunters of Missouri and the Buffalo Tongue Traditional Bow Hunters.

    I will always remember Uncle Jerry with a wide grin and a ready joke… with a bear hug hello, and a bear rug in the basement. He will truly be missed, and to Nancy and all of Jerry’s family, I’m truly sorry for the loss you now suffer. May God’s love surround you.

    I am very sorry to hear of Jerry’s passing. My late husband, Joe, and I enjoyed all of the time we spent with Jerry and all of the Baumans with the McDonnell Douglas Archery Club, I have many fond memories of all of you. You are all in my thoughts and loving prayers during this difficult time..

    Lloyd and I are so sorry to hear about Jerry’s passing. We met him years ago at Laidlaw Bus Company and I was even his monitor on his school bus for a while. Lloyd and Jerry use to talk a lot about hunting and archery. He will be missed.

    I will remember Jerry from our days in Francis Howell High School band. Jerry, Larry, Roy, Donnie and I joined the Navy and all were stationed at The Naval Base in Norfolk, Va. I seen Jerry through out the years at High School Reunions. We all were fortunate to have a Reunion in 2012 in Honolulu, Hi. Where I lived at the time. We all enjoyed our time together.

    I first met Jerry when I started work as a bus monitor in 2008 and he was a bus driver. He was a good man and liked by everyone. To Nancy any family, I am so sorry for your loss.
