Jennifer Lynn Panagos was born March 10, 1974 at Missouri Baptist Hospital. She was the daughter of Frances (Jaspring) Panagos and Edward R. Panagos, deceased. She was baptized by Rev. Gerald Bock and later confirmed at Immanuel UCC. Jen went to William Jewell College in Liberty, MO after high school, but she transferred to Maryville University and graduated from there. She earned a degree in psychology and took a job with A.G. Edwards in human resources and later in compliance. She loved it! Later her company was bought out by Wells Fargo, but she stayed and made many friends.

Jennifer’s love was swimming and playing softball in high school. She entered several state swimming competitions to the delight of her family. As an adult one pleasure of her life was fixing up her grandparents’ house in Florissant and moving in. She loved living in a neighborhood where the neighbors were close enough to have annual get-togethers and children played with Jen’s dogs and brought cookies to her door.

Jen was diagnosed with ovarian cancer in 2013, and it just kept returning despite repeated attempts at chemotherapy. She continued working until the end of 2017 when she moved in with her mom to make her life a little easier. She sold her home in Florissant and moved with her beloved dogs to St. Charles. We’re seeking a home for each of them, a 12 year old beagle and a 7 year old Australian Shepherd.

Jen is survived by her mother Fran Panagos and sister Erin Christine Panagos.

    candle 8To the Panagos Family,

My sincere condolences to you. Jen was a wonderful person. I met her over the phone when we worked for A.G. Edwards. After awhile, we became friends. We stayed in touch for many years. Jen was the voice of reason when I needed and I’ll never forget her.

May the Lord comfort you during this difficult period.
