Jeffrey L. Steiner

July 14, 1956 — August 21, 2021

Jeffrey L. Steiner, 65, passed away peacefully on August 21st, 2021. Born July 14th, 1956, to Elvin and Bernice Steiner, in St. Charles, Missouri. He is preceded in death by his parents, Bernice and Elvin Steiner, brother, Gregory Steiner, aunt and uncle Melvin and Norma Hamby, nephew Matthew Steiner, and grandson Rowan Jeffrey Riley. He is survived by his wife, Patricia Steiner, two children, Kelley (Tyler) Riley and Jacob Steiner, granddaughter Nora Lee Riley, sister Karen (James) Manahan, brother Mark Steiner, nieces and nephews, and friends.

His hard-working attitude was driven by his determination to provide for his family. The pride he had for his family was evident, not only with his own children, but with his nieces and nephews.

While his time with his granddaughter, Nora, was short, she was the highlight of his last year of life.

From a young age he had a love for reptiles and anything related to the outdoors. These passions continued into adulthood, where he would share them with his friends and family. Anyone who knew Jeff, knew that underneath the rough exterior, was a man with a kindhearted soul.

He was never afraid to laugh at himself, and chose to see the humor in life.

Jeff’s quick wit, playful nature, and most importantly his enormous heart, will be remembered by all who were lucky enough to have known him.

Memorial contributions in Jeffrey’s name may be made to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital, the Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation, or the American Heart Association.

Baue Funeral Homes is currently following CDC recommendations regarding mask and social distancing policies.

All services will be private at the request of the family.
