Jeanne R. Krehmeyer

Jeanne Ruth Krehmeyer (nee Neis), of Lake St. Louis, Missouri, passed away Saturday, May 18, 2019 at the age of 89. Loving wife of the late Robert Frederick Krehmeyer; beloved daughter of the late Edward J. Neis and Winona M. VanStratten; devoted mother of Robyn Johnson and John (Joanne) Krehmeyer; cherished grandmother of Timothy (Angela) Frese, Daniel Johnson, Alex (Kelsey) Steffens, and Darcy Steffens; treasured great-grandmother of Austin, Tristan and Abigail Frese; mother-in-law of David Steffens; dear sister of Alyce Ann (David) Aufdembrink;  beloved aunt, cousin and friend. Jeanne is also preceded in death by her daughter, Patricia Steffens; brother, Edward Neis; and sister, Gloria Kreitner.

Jeanne was a member of Holy Cross Lutheran Church in O'Fallon, MO. Jeanne was a very generous person in her time and talents, she was a volunteer for USO, the Library, Children's Hospitals to mention a few. She and her husband cooked at the soup kitchen and she also served as an Election Judge over the years. Jeanne was Sunday School teacher at Grace Chapel in Bellefontaine Neighbors, Immanuel Lutheran in St Charles, and St. Mark’s Lutheran Church in Omaha, NE. Jeanne was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother. She was dearly loved and will be greatly missed by all who knew her.

Memorials may be made in Jeanne's name to St. Louis Concordia Seminary or the Humane Society of Missouri.
