James Lee Vines, of St. Charles, Missouri, passed away Sunday, June 23, 2019. Loving husband of Leona (nee Edmond) of 60 years; son of the late Dolly Snyder; devoted father of Scott Vines and Cynthia (Doug) Wilsman; grandfather of Katherine (Dick) Bonin and Lindsay (John) Busch and his bonus grandsons, Tony Wilsman and Nathan Wilsman; great-grandfather of Dennis Lee Bonin and Alice Ruby Busch.
Jim was preceded in death by his brothers, Buddy James and Charles James.
Jim proudly served his country, first in the United States Army and later spending 20 years in the United States Air Force. After his retirement from the Air Force, he continued to serve his country in a civilian capacity with a total of 40 years of government service.
Jim loved his family, his country, his friends, his church, and his God.
Jim was preceded in death by his brothers, Buddy James and Charles James.
