Jim was such a kind man. I worked for him at the gas station and I loved all the time I spent there with his family. The Wetter family is like my second family and Jim and Sherri treated me as one of their own. I have such fond memories of Jim and the Wetter family. I’m thankful that I was lucky enough to know him. We are so sorry for your loss. A lot of good times and memories; Daytona, go-kart racing, a few nick names like Gunther and Delbert! I still have half of a dollar bill we tore in half because we had to split the change from 30 years ago in Daytona! Last I knew Jim still had his. You could always count on a good story, a laugh or a valuable lesson. We are so thankful we got to spend some time with him recently. He had a kind heart and helped us along the way. Jim encouraged Mark to take his first drink of beer! Mark did not like it but Jim enjoyed his! Even though they did not have that in common they still had a blast together! Thoughts and prayers for everyone. He will be greatly missed until we meet again.

I am truly sorry for you loss. I always loved coming in seeing Jim there. We would always cut up make each other laugh even if it was at our own expense. Just trying to see him with his glasses on trying to work the register and going in his facial expression which I won’t put words in his mouth but I would think it would be where is my sledge hammer. RIP JIM

Everyone was at the lake one weekend, and we ALL had way too much to drink. Dad (Larry) wanted these boulders moved around the yard for deccoration, when I say yard, I mean no grass, all rock, steep incline! So Jim says “Jamie, you up for it?” Im like “hell yeah”! So we load these boulders onto the golf cart (you know these boys and their toys!) And drive down and across the beautiful steep rocky yard to where daddy wants the boulders strategically placed, all while laughing our butts off and trying not to spill the natural light and margaritas we took with us! Now my dad was lit too and was more like a woman in a new house that cannot decide which wall the entertainment center would look best on, so we wrestle this boulder from place to place as we are rolling!! This went on for 30 or 40 minutes, and 3 boulders! Well, Jim was a man that let his guard down after you earned his respect, and I earned it that day….. so much fun… I Love You Jim… RIP!

Jim’s passing is such a shock. We are all so saddened and at a loss for words. Jim was so full of life and stories. In his early years, he worked for Glosier Construction. Every time I would see him, he had just one more “Gene Glosier episode” to tell me. Our family all loved Jim. He was so full of life and energy. Jim was truly “one of the good guys”. He will be missed. Sherri, Cathy and I are praying for you and the family.

Jim had Carol stand on a chair, then he moved the chair around so that John and Carol could have their “dance”. It was fantastic! I have rarely seen Jim without a smile. When Earl retired he knew that he left the company in more than competent hands. Jim was a natural people person and will be missed by all who knew him.You are all in my thoughts and prayers.
