James E. “Jim” Perkins

August 1, 1945 — June 10, 2020

James E. “Jim” Perkins of Wentzville, Missouri, passed away Wednesday, June 10, 2020 at the age of 74. Loving husband of Marilyn Perkins; beloved son of the late Leola and Hurley Perkins, Sr.; devoted father of Dana (Mike) Hulsey, Ellen (Derrick) Davenport; cherished grandfather of  Ashley (Nathan), Mitchell, Kaitlyn, and Danielle; dear brother of Hurley (Rose) Perkins, Jr., Lloyd and Catherine. Beloved Uncle, Cousin, and Friend.

James proudly served in the United State Army during the Vietnam War. He retired from Missouri Drywall where he worked as a manager for over 40 years. After retiring, he became a salesman and retired a second time from P&A Drywall. James married the love of his life Marilyn and they shared 51 years of marriage. He will be remembered as an amazing father who was devoted to his family and loved his grandchildren beyond words. James was dearly loved and will be greatly missed by all who knew.
