James C. Howard

James C. Howard, of Saint Charles, MO, passed away Thursday, November 17, 2016, at the age of 84. Beloved husband of Shirley L. Howard; cherished son of the late Opal (Clyde) Meadows and the late Claude John Howard; devoted father of Kathryn (Dave) Smith, Dennis (Linda) Howard, Theodore "Ted" (Denise) Howard, and Timothy (Shonda) Howard; loving grandfather of Jennifer Smith, Eric (Erin) Smith, Catrina (Matt) Bachelor, Lesleigh (Norbert) Leonard, Michael Howard, Brittany (Ryan) Colley, Matthew Howard, Adrian (Candice) Howard, Christina (Mike) Ryan, and Meegan (Alex) Baum; treasured great-grandfather of Jackson, Nicholas, Emily, Ashley, Bailee, Clayton, Parker, Parker, Vincent, Cooper, Alyvia, Ian, Jacob, Jeremiah, Alexis, Gage, and Gabriella.

James retired from McDonnell Douglas after more than 42 years of employment. He loved working on cars and woodworking. He enjoyed tinkering with electronics and putting together robots. He was an avid St. Louis Cardinals fan. He was dearly loved, and will be missed by all who knew him.
