Jackie M. Skowron (Sago - Light) a long-time resident of the Greater Saint Louis area, died Easter Sunday the 16th of April at Barnes Jewish Hospital.
Born November 23, 1935 in Saint Louis, MO, Jackie loved the St. Louis Cardinals, Blues, cooking, gardening, good food, and spending quality time with her family. She had a wonderful personality that could motivate and inspire.
She is survived by her husband, Larry Skowron, sisters Shirley Hall and Janet Fritchey, sons Eddie (Cindy) and Freddie Sago, step daughters Marcia (Barry) Herrmann and Lisa McCarty, grandchildren, Jack (Bryan Duney) Sago, Kristy (Trey) Thomure, Darren (Jessica Green) Sago, Brock McCarty, Eve McCarty, and Cassidy Herrmann. Jackie leaves behind other loved ones, former daughter-in-law Diane (Chris Skinner) Sago, and many cousins, nieces, and nephews. Preceded in death Jackie is met by Jimmy Sago (son), Jack Sago (first husband) and her parents Fred and Virginia Light
