Homer E. Scott, of Wentzville, MO, passed away Sunday, December 29, 2019 at the age of 90. Loving husband of the late Nancy Scott; son of the late Homer Evans and Bertha Scott; devoted father of Nancy (Harry) Corbett, Cynthia (Dave) Byrum, Brenda (Kevin) Morrow, Debbie (Rick Retter) Rankey and Ed (Peggy) Scott; cherished grandfather of Bret (Courtney) Corbett, Mike (Tracie) Lampe, Carrie (Dan) Grosso, Nick (Roz) Morrow, Kristen (Ian) Harms, Andrea (Joffroi) Holcombe, Ryan (Liz) Morrow, Jessica (Dave) Rogers; treasured great-grandfather of Mac, Abi, Emma, Kaiya, Shae, William, Daniel, Amelia, Jack, Cole, Elijah, Malak, Hannah, Gabe, Caleb, JJ., Miles, Weston, Griffin, Gavyn, Danny, A.J.; great-great grandfather of Lyla and Colton. Homer was preceded in death by his grandson, Jeffery Corbett.
Homer proudly served his country in the United States Army during the Korean War. He was a member of Korean War Vet Organization and Veterans of Foreign Wars. Homer worked for Sears where he retired from after many years of service. He enjoyed spending time outdoors whether it was camping or fishing. Homer loved his grandchildren and taught them how to swim and fish. He was dearly loved and will be greatly missed by all who knew him.
