Schonewetter, Hilda, (nee: Hanneken), of St. Charles, MO, died on Monday, October 24, 2016, at the age of 76. Loving wife of George Eldon Schonewetter; beloved daughter of the late John and Marie Hanneken; devoted mother of Teresa (Randy) Rehm, Debbie (Jerry) Gruntman, and Linda (Jeff) Marchwinski; cherished grandmother of Brian Marchwinski, Alexis (Adam) Gulley, Rachel Marchwinski, Mandi Gruntman, Cory Gruntman, and Elliott Rehm; dear sister of Leroy (Betty) Hanneken, Helen (Don) Hirschfeld, and Mary (Vern) Brand. She is preceded in death by her siblings Anna Mae Williams and Ralph Hanneken.
Hilda was a member of St. Robert Bellarmine Catholic Church. She enjoyed camping, traveling, their farm, flowers, and nature. Mostly she loved being with her family, she will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved her.
