Henry “Hank” J. Jadrich

Henry “Hank” J. Jadrich of O’Fallon, Missouri, on Tuesday, November 28, 2017, at the age of 95 years. Beloved husband of the late Myra Jean Jadrich; cherished son of the late Victor Peter Jadrich, Sr. and the late Susan Jadrich; devoted father of Myra Susan (Thomas) Slocum, Martha Anne (Richard) Ehlmann, Mary Jennifer (David Wicks) Jadrich, and Jonathan "Jon" Burke Jadrich; loving grandfather of Julia Anne (Doug) Ayers; treasured great-grandfather of Olivia and Alyssa Ayers; dear brother of Thomas (Judy) Jadrich and the late Victor Peter Jadrich, Jr. He was also a beloved uncle and dear friend to many.

Hank was an active member of St. Charles Presbyterian Church where he enjoyed singing in the choir. A talented musician, he also enjoyed playing violin. He was involved in many St. Charles Community plays and was a two-time past president of the St. Charles Historical Society. Hank proudly served his country in the United States Navy and later became an elite Marine Corps pilot. He served as a Beach Commander at Inchon and was the Beach Master at the evacuation of Hungnam, where he was the last man off the beach. During his years in the service, he played baseball and was the pitcher for the Marine Corp team, which he was very proud of and enjoyed telling stories about. Hank was dearly loved and will be immensely missed by all who knew him.
