Helen M. Lukenbill of St. Peters, MO, passed Thursday, June 7, 2018, at the age of 84. Beloved wife of the late Richard G. "Dick" Lukenbill; cherished daughter of the late Max and Ursula Glasser; devoted mother of Ellen (Bob) Gallahar, Tom Lukenbill, and Claire (Mike) Leahy; loving grandmother of Ryan Miller, Kaitlin (Tyler) Thomas, Emma Gallahar, and Jessica Bobbitt; treasured great-grandmother of James Mulikey, Jr., Brendon Thomas, Landon Thomas, and Weston Thomas; dear friend of Betty Johnson; loving aunt of many nieces and nephews; and relative and friend to many others. Helen was also preceded in death by her siblings Bill Bussen, Oliver Bussen, Ken Bussen, and Maxine Warnick.
Helen dedicated more than 26 years with Schnucks Supermarkets before retiring. She was a longtime member of All Saints Catholic Church, a Eucharistic Minister, and devout in her faith. She also volunteered her time as an election judge. Helen enjoyed being outdoors and soaking up the sun while swimming. She also enjoyed visiting the casinos and cheering on the St. Louis Cardinals. Above all else, Helen loved her family and cherished the time spent with them. She will be remembered for her generous nature, her great sense of humor, and caring soul. Helen will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved her.
