Helen Francis Culp Bray, age 90, has now joined her daughter Linda Hurley in heaven.  She passed away March 12th, at home surrounded by her Family.

She is survived by her two remaining daughters; Millie Meyer and Kathy Thro (Tom)

5 Grandchildren; Lisa Kassabaum (Todd), Tammy Hurley, Tina Houghton (Rick), Brett Thro (Cruz) and Ryan Thro (Megan).

9 Great Grandchildren; Justin, Travis, Ashley, Casey, Mackenzie, Avery, Easton, Grant and Kinley.

4 Great, Great, Grandchildren: Lyland, Ryley, Autymn and Kali.

Helen loved gardening, fishing, puzzles and just having a good time.  She enjoyed the fulfilling work she did at Good Samaritan Nursing Home, but what she loved the most was being with her family and taking trips.  At 65 she went horseback riding in the mountains of Arizona, at age 80 she took her dream trip to Hawaii and at age 85 she went diamond hunting in Arkansas.  She liked to sit around a bonfire with her family and tell stories about her trips.  Once a month, she would get together with her Daughters and Granddaughters for dinner and she would always make the dessert!

She will be greatly missed, as she was the Wonder Woman of her family.  We will never forget the joy she brought into all of our lives.

A Celebration of Life event is being planned for April.

Contributions in Helen's memory can be made to the donor's choice of charity.

I also had the honor of meeting Gram, what a wonderful woman who loved life and her family. Lisa, I am so sorry for your loss. The only comfort is that she is now with your mom in heaven, and she is your guardian angel. Be looking for feathers, cause she will be watching over you and your family. I am sorry that Kali never got to meet her great great grandma.
