Harold V. Nichols

Harold V. Nichols, of O’Fallon, MO, died on Tuesday December 20, 2016, at the age of 95. Loving husband of the late Frances Nichols; beloved son of the late Dorsey and Mae Nichols; devoted father of, Nic (Helen) Nichols, Don (Christa) Nichols, and loving father-in-law of Carol Nichols; cherished grandfather of Erin Nichols, Drew Nichols, Bairie (Tracy) Nichols, Jr. Shelly (Tim) Sigmund, April (Jamal) Foster, Holly (Jared) Chisholm, Julia Nichols, Jessi Nichols; treasured great-grandfather of Dylan, David, Conner, Kaylie, Blake, Tessa, Trent, Jonah, Nolan, and Amelia; dear brother of Sue Kite. He is preceded in death by his son, Bairie Nichols, and nine siblings.

Harold proudly served his country in the United States Army during WWII. He was honored to travel with Honor Flight. He loved gardening and was very proud of his carpentry skills. Most of all, Harold was a devout Christian and loved spending time with his family. He was dearly loved and will be missed by all who knew him.
