Harold “Nick” Nickerson

October 1, 1918 — May 13, 2017

Harold “Nick” Nickerson, of St. Charles, Missouri, passed away on Saturday, May 13, 2017, at the age of 98. Harold was the loving husband for 74 wonderful years, to Ima Jean Nickerson (nee: See); beloved son of the late Floy and Gladys Nickerson; devoted father of Camille Nickerson and Martin Allen Nickerson (Carole); cherished grandfather of Natalie and Robert; loving great-grandfather of C.J., Garrett, and Austin; dear brother of Russell Nickerson. He is also survived by many dear nieces and nephews. Harold was also preceded in death by one brother, Raymond Nickerson and one sister, Vivian Schillinger.

Harold proudly served his country with honor in the United States Navy during World War II, and later retired from McDonnell Douglas after a lengthy career. Harold greatly enjoyed traveling and loved spending many winters enjoying the warmth of Florida with his wife. He was dearly loved and will be missed by all who knew him.
