Harold Canterbury

December 31, 1925 — December 11, 2020

Harold Canterbury, of St. Peters, Missouri, passed away Friday, December 11, 2020 at the age of 94. Beloved husband of the late Billie Canterbury; cherished son of the late Otis and Bernice Canterbury. Devoted father of Terry (William) Hessenkemper, Karen (Terry) Dunn, Dianne Ceriotti, and the late Susan Bergman; loving grandfather of Robert Wujcik, Eric (Dusty) Hessenkemper, Heidi (Justin) Rich, Jennifer (Aaron) Crowell, Kimberly Vaughn, Brian (Angie) Dunn, Kathryn Ceriotti, and Robert Ceriotti; great grandfather of many great grandchildren; dear brother of the late Robert Canterbury.

Harold proudly served in the United States Navy during World War II as an aviation electrician’s mate. He was a proud recipient of the Victory Medal and American Area Medal. He was a member of the Masons, the American Legion Post, and a devoted member of Waypoint Church.

In his free time, Harold enjoyed golfing and spending time with his family. Harold was dearly loved and will be greatly missed by all who knew him.

Memorials may be made in Harold's name to Shriner’s Hospital for Children-St. Louis, MO.

Due to COVID-19, services at the funeral home will be kept to immediate family only. The family invites you to please join them in celebrating Harold's life through a recorded a video that will be posted here on the day of service.
