Harlan M. Riechers

Riechers, Harlan M., of Saint Charles, MO, died on Friday, December 25, 2015, at the age of 96. Loving husband of the late Lavern Riechers; beloved son of the late Lafe and Pearl Riechers; devoted father of Joyce (Bill) Miller, Paul (Ruth) Riechers, Ron (Mendi) Riechers, and Glenda (Doug) Musec; cherished grandfather of Michelle Rose, Brian Rose, Beth Cotton, Amy Riechers, Tiffany (Chad) Willbrand, Nicholas Musec, Lauren Musec, Daniel Musec, Shawn Miller, Dana Michael, Lance Miller, Trent Miller, and Lavar Miller; treasured great-grandfather of 8; dear brother of Kenneth Riechers; and loving uncle, cousin, and friend to many. He is preceded in death by his sisters Gretchen Denningmann and Norma Meyer.

Harlan proudly served his country in the United States Army during WWII. He was a lifetime member of the Local 513 Hoisting Engineers and of St. John United Church of Christ-St. Charles. During his retirement years Harlan really enjoyed bowling, darts, hunting, gardening, and watching the St. Louis Cardinals. He will be truly missed by all who knew and loved him.
