Gregory W Kettler

Gregory W. Kettler, of O’Fallon, MO, passed away Tuesday October 3, 2017, at the age of 81.  Loving husband of the late Evelyn “Laverne” Kettler; dear son of the late Wallace and Aline Kettler; devoted father of Linda Laswell, Gregory (Susan) Kettler, and Steven (Margie) Kettler; cherished grandfather of Shane (Kristina) Laswell, Ben (Michelle) Kettler, Jacob Kettler, Becky (Brad) Benes, and Kathryn Kettler; treasured great-grandfather of Britnie (Steve Hall) Laswell, Nicole Laswell, and Mahranda Laswell; beloved great-great-grandfather of Kylie Hall, Konner Hall, Kenzie Hall, Aubrey Konertz, and Makayla Avery; dearest brother of Marlene, and the late Wayne Kettler; dear uncle, cousin, and friend to many.

Gregory proudly served in the U.S. Air Force during the Vietnam War.  He retired from the St. Louis Post Dispatch after more than 45 years.  He loved camping and fishing at Tomahawk Lake and Lonedell Lake.  He also enjoyed going to Branson with his wife.  He and his wife also cherished their beloved dogs, which included Chihuahuas, Pomeranians, and Shih-Tzu’s.  Gregory was an avid baseball fan, and always looked forward to watching the St. Louis Browns and St. Louis Cardinals play.  He was dearly loved, and will be greatly missed by all who knew him.
