After living in Louisville, Atlanta, and Chicago, they settled in St. Charles where they reared their family: Greg, Anne, Tom, and Jay.
He was active in environmental organizations and community projects. Retiring as an Insurance broker, he enjoyed traveling, golf, fishing, and hunting. He was an accomplished fly fisherman and inspired his children to love hunting and fishing, and to respect the environment.
