Glennon “Scratchy” Hibbeler, of O Fallon, MO, passed away Wednesday, July 15, 2020 at the age of 85. Beloved husband of Jane Hibbeler (nee: Fetsch); cherished son of the late Dr. Oliver “O.N.” and Edna Hibbeler; devoted father of Gary (Glenda) Hibbeler, Larry (Barb) Hibbeler, Kristi (Ken) Nickles and Jodi (John) Lang; loving grandfather of Amanda (BJ) Hastie, Greg (Kareema) Nickles, Gennesa Nickles, Gretchen (Trent) Deaton, Grant (Michele) Nickles, Megan Judy, Haley Barclay, Caitlin (Zane) Maus, Jared Hibbeler, Jacob (Dana) Hibbeler, Cole Rhodes, and Shelby Rhodes; treasured great-grandfather of Makenna, Dane, Nalya, Lian, Owen, Wyatt, Brandon, Kaden, Kaleb, Jack and Avery; dear brother of Phillip (the late Luanne) Hibbeler, Dorothy (the late Floyd) Vincent, Susan (Jim) Mudd and Mary (the late Larry) Holtzhauser; Scratchy is preceded in death by three brothers, Oliver "Ollie" (Shirley) Hibbeler, Walter "Doc" (the late Roberta) Hibbeler and Gerald (Dolly) Hibbeler.
Scratchy proudly and honorably served in the United States Army and was a member of O’Fallon VFW Post 5077. He enjoyed collecting items and was the proud business owner of Skelly Service Station and Scratchy’s Auto and Truck Salvage for seventeen years each. Scratchy was dearly loved and will be greatly missed by all who knew him.

St. Jude Children's Hospital or the
Alzheimer's Association.
