Glen H. Meyerholtz, of O Fallon, Missouri, passed away Monday, December 9, 2019 at the age of 90. Beloved husband of Cornelia (Nell) Meyerholtz; cherished son of the late Homer and Marie Meyerholtz; devoted brother of the late Kenneth (Dorothy) Meyerholtz devoted father of Kenneth Meyerholtz, Carolyn Niederkorn and Karla Sue Larson; loving grandfather of Alayna Niederkorn, Elise Larson and Erin Larson; treasured uncle of many nieces and nephews.
Glen grew up in Straughn, Indiana and was active in the 4-H club and worked on the family farm. He graduated from Straughn High School and Purdue University. He met the love of his life Nell and they married on June 23, 1956. Glen and Nell raised their three children in St. Louis and Glen worked for thirty years at McDonnell Douglas as a product service manager. After retiring, their pastimes included traveling, and spending time with family.
Glen was a devout Christian and volunteered for many hours at Arlington United Methodist Church. He loved woodworking and spent time refinishing antique furniture. He loved to read westerns and listen to Country music, his favorite singer was Buck Owens. He was kind and loving with a great sense of humor. His most cherished times were spent with his children and grandchildren. He will be greatly missed. Glen will be remembered for his hard work and giving 110% in anything he did in life.
Glen was dearly loved and will be greatly missed by all who knew him.
