Geraldine “Geri” Terrel (nee: Foster), of St. Charles, Missouri, passed away Tuesday November 7, 2017, at the age of 89. Loving wife of 35 years to the late Norman Robert Terrel; beloved daughter of the late James Sullivan and Mary Lucy Foster; devoted step-mother of Alan (Liz) Terrel, and Brian (Lynn) Terrel; cherished grandmother of Robert Terrel, Joseph (Lisha) Terrel, Kristina (Josh) Lardi, Christopher Terrel, and Ally Terrel; treasured great-grandmother of Evelyn, Paisley, Hunter, Jack, and Isaac; dear aunt, great-aunt, and great-great aunt to many. Geri is preceded in death by her three sisters and four brothers.
Geri married Norman on February 28, 1976 in Bellwood, Illinois. She retired after more than 33 years, beginning at American Telephone and Telegraph Company in the accounting department, then Long Lines Division in St. Louis, MO and Chicago, IL. She and Norman retired to Gamaliel, Arkansas in 1979, then moved to Mountain Home, Arkansas in 2002. Geri was a member of and active in the One O One Presbyterian Church of Gamaliel, AR. She was also active in the Gamaliel Girls Club for more than 30 years. She enjoyed doing needlepoint and painting, and liked to play board games and cards. For Christmas, everyone looked forward to the nametags she made with the previous year’s cards that she received. Geri was dearly loved, and will be greatly missed by all who knew her.
