Gerald “Jerry” Tobnick
October 18, 1942 — March 21, 2016
Tobnick, Gerald “Jerry,” of St. Charles, MO, died on Monday, March 21, 2016, at the age of 73. Beloved husband of Beverly Smith-Tobnick; cherished son of the late Lawrence and Virginia Tobnick; devoted father of Todd Tobnick and Robyn (Brian) Burchard; loving step-father of DeAnne Smith (Blake Propp); treasured grandfather of Brittany, Todd, Jr., Nathan, Tristan, Dylan, and Clair; dear brother of Sharon Goodman, Colleen (Chuck) Appel, and Chris Tobnick. Gerald is also survived by many nieces, nephews, cousins, and dear friends.
Jerry was preceded in death by his brother, Lawrence Tobnick, Jr.
Jerry proudly served his country in the United States Marine Corps. He retired from TWA in 1998 after 32 years of service. He was a member of the O’Fallon Elks Lodge #2587. Jerry was a devoted golfer and avid reader. His greatest joy was being with his family. He was a devoted husband, father, grandfather, and brother. Jerry was dearly loved and will be missed by all who knew and loved him.
