George L. Goldman Jr.

June 27, 1957 — April 23, 2021

Goldman, George L., Jr.

June 27, 1957 - April 23, 2021

O’Fallon, Missouri.  Preceded in death by parents, George and Grace Goldman.  Survived by devoted wife and soulmate, Kristine (Jorgensen) Goldman; sons Geoff (Jennefer) of St. Charles, MO and Andrew Goldman of Foristell, MO; granddaughter Emelyn Goldman; brother Greg (Cindy) and sisters Gina (Ron) Leise , Amy (Paul) Wojtkiewicz, Cari (Rich) Tokheim and Joni (Bill) Moser, all of Omaha, NE.; Numerous nieces, nephews and friends.

George was born in Omaha, NE, and attended Central High School then Bellevue University where he received his BS in Business Administration.  He relocated to O’Fallon, Missouri in 1997 where he enjoyed a successful career in the sales of plastic molding equipment.   His knowledge and expertise eventually led him to forming and starting his own business, Streamline Equipment where he served as owner/president.   He loved life and lived it to the fullest, welcoming all to join him on the ride.  Family and friends meant everything to him.  He loved good music, good barbeque, a cold beer, traveling and a lively round of golf.

A self-avowed “Deadhead,” he considered the Grateful Dead to be one of the greatest bands of all time.  While others were showering his newborn granddaughter with pinks and pastels, he procured her a layette in the trademark tie dye of his favorite rockers.  Those attending George’s final send-off are invited to come dressed in their favorite Grateful Dead attire or similar tie dye designs.

Celebration of Life to be held in Omaha at a later date.
