Gary Layne Floyd

June 7, 1941 — April 26, 2017

Gary Layne Floyd, of St. Charles, MO, passed away Wednesday, April 26, 2017, at the age of 75.  Loving husband of the late Billie Floyd; beloved son of the late Henry Norvell and Dorothy Faye Floyd; devoted father of Dana (April) Floyd and Michelle (Barry) Herring; cherished grandfather of Kali Floyd, Dustin Wood, Nicholas Wood, and Rhiannon Floyd; treasured great-grandfather of Bentley Reinhardt; dear brother of Robin (Kamille) Floyd.

Gary proudly served in the U.S. Army during the Vietnam War.  He retired as a security analyst from Boeing after more than 42 years.  He loved watching NASCAR races, and going to the dirt track races in Missouri and Illinois.  He enjoyed collecting and listening to music.  He was dearly loved and will be missed by all who knew him.
