Gail Foley

Gail Marie Foley (nee Mertens), of Saint Charles, MO, passed away Wednesday, August 26, 2020 at the age of 80. Beloved significant other of Richard Borders; cherished daughter of the late Edwin and Evelyn Mertens; devoted mother of the late Ricky Foley, the late Ken (Shanna) Foley and John Foley; loving grandmother of Kirstin and Sean Foley; dear sister of Joan (Erlin Perlado) Mertens, Dean (Robin) Mertens, Sharon (David) Dale, Dennis (Margaret) Mertens, Sue Petruso, and Dan Mertens; Gail is survived by a great-grandchild on the way, many nieces, nephews, cousins, extended family and dear friends.

Gail is also preceded in death by her brother Don (Boots) Mertens.

Gail loved spending time with her family and friends, she also enjoyed social activities. She loved spending time at the lake and at her family’s farm, fishing, cooking and spending time outdoors. Gail was dearly loved and will be greatly missed by all who knew her.

Memorials may be made in Gail 's name to Leukemia & Lymphoma Society of America.
